STATSports are proud to announce that 2016/17 League 2 Champions Portsmouth FC have signed an agreement that will see them become the latest English club to be monitored by STATSports.

Pompey will be using STATSports multi award-winning hardware and software solution which is being used by hundreds of the biggest football teams in the world, including Manchester United, Liverpool FC and Juventus.

“Following our promotion to League 1, where player demands are greater, and the league is more competitive, we set out to research which system would be best suited to help us with training load management and to assist with overall player welfare” said Bobby Bacic, Head of Sports Medicine.

“We found STATSports to have the most accurate and reliable system on the market and we are now able to gain invaluable insights into player performance and improve our ‘return to play’ process.”

Portsmouth currently sit in 8th place in the League 1 table, just two places outside the play-off spots. Play up Pompey!
