STATSports at Rugby Rising

Tommy Bowe and Louis Ludik’s Rugby Rising took place over the October Bank Holiday weekend and was a roaring success.

Backed by STATSports, the former Ireland star Bowe, and current Ulster ace Ludik, created an all-Ireland schools rugby competition that saw a number of top schools take part.

Approximately 200 children took part over three days of games with Tuesday and Thursday seeing a number of huge rugby personalities coming in to chat to the school kids.

We also fitted the kids with our Apex Athlete Series tracking devices during the games so they could measure metrics such as their distance, speed, and sprints among others.
