06 Aug STATSports x Gamechanger Performance: Supporting PFA Injury Rehabilitation Programme
Game Changer Performance have signed a new partnership agreement with STATSports to utilise their GPS equipment on the Professional Footballers Association residential rehabilitation programme at St. George’s Park.
The partnership will see the team at GCP use STATSports’ new Apex system and Sonra software to monitor players working with them whilst attending the programme each week.
GCP’s physical performance team at SGP is led by Lead Physical Performance Coach Adam Burton.
Commenting on the new partnership, Burton said: “GCP are delighted to have signed a new partnership with STATSports to help improve the quality of services delivered to the athletes we work with.
“The partnership will enable us to perform live monitoring of our pitch-based sessions on the PFA residential rehab programme, that not will only give us the capacity to provide instant, reliable athlete feedback, but also to help us as Physical Performance Coaches quality assure that the sessions we are delivering meet the physical requirements we have planned for.”
The partnership will also support a number of great projects we have going on at St George’s Park around profiling and benchmarking professional players physical performance.”
