STATSports Live system is flexibleĀ to meet all usersā configurations. The simplest is a single portableĀ beacon system used pitch side, which can beĀ set up to provideĀ a local ApexĀ live network thatĀ can be accessed wirelessly by all STATSports applications. On larger playing areas, aĀ second portable beacon can be used to extend the range of the UWB network coverage.
In a stadium, three beacons can be installed to allow for GPS position augmentation. Typically, in fixed training ground facilities, there are many training pitches. In this situation 4+ beacons can be permanently installed, providing 24/7 coverage over a much larger area.
STATSports brand-new Multiple Augmented Performance Positional System (MAPPS) is a revolutionary new positioning and wireless communication technology for high speed and low power applications. MAPPS provides teams with data accurate to centimetres in any indoor, outdoor or stadium environment using only four miniature, portable beacons, (requires only 2 beacons to augment GPS in stadium use) also ensuring long range and fast communication. MAPPS easily co-exists with other wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth without suffering interference making it ideal for use on game day

SETUPS
STATSports brand new, patent pending indoor system brings unrivalled accuracy and precision to player tracking and performance monitoring in any indoor environment. Using four miniature, portable UWBĀ beacons, our indoor tracking system provides the same degree of accuracy as an outdoor GPS-based system. Apex devices can be configured to work in outdoor GPS modeĀ or indoor UWB mode, providing the same high quality performance metrics in either environment. An indoor arena requires a multi beacon system. Four portableĀ beacons are located at the corners of the arena providing the indoor positioning system for the Apex units. Ā A fifth beacon is used for live metricĀ data transfer.
