STATSports and Singapore FA Sign Partnership That Will Revolutionize Football Development in Southeast Asia

STATSports, the world’s leading provider of GPS player tracking technology, has announced a new agreement with the Singapore FA and Singapore Premier League.

The partnership will provide all eligible Singaporean teams access to STATSports’ cutting-edge GPS technology and data analysis software to help optimize player performance and help mitigate injury risk. This data-driven initiative is and will be led by FAS Football Science & Medicine Department.

Using STATSports Sonra Cloud system, the Singapore FA will be able to access Singaporean Premier League club’s data.

The Sonra Cloud system funnels every player’s data through one channel. This means that an athlete can be seamlessly tracked from a club into their national team, meaning zero blind spots for player loading and athletic profiling. This feature will support the national team’s development and enhance future success.

Sonra Cloud also provides designated users within the federation and at the clubs with improved data accessibility and greater flexibility, allowing them to view the data on any tablet, laptop, desktop, or mobile through a secure URL.

“The introduction of our GPS technology into the Singapore Premier League marks a significant milestone for STATSports,” affirmed STATSports’ Matt Holland.

“We are proud to collaborate with the Singapore Football Association in our shared mission to enhance player performance and safeguard athlete well-being. Through industry leading real-time monitoring and advanced data analysis, the federation and Premier League clubs have made a significant investment in the growth of the game here. We’re excited to help them develop as a footballing nation.”

Singaporean Premier League teams will have day-to-day access to the same technology used by federations such as England, Brazil, Portugal, and two-times Asian Cup Champions Qatar, plus global names like Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, and Juventus.

The partnership with the Singapore Premier Leage represents another significant milestone for STATSports, as the company continues to expand its reach in Asia.Â
